Q. Can I use my own frequencies / music in your sound tables or do I have to use only yours?

A. Yes — absolutely. From the very beginning, I believed that Vibroacoustics should remain an open and evolving field, not limited by proprietary content. If I had restricted the tables to use only our own tracks, the practice of Vibroacoustics would never have grown as much as it has today.

You can play any type of music or frequency-based audio, from Solfeggio frequencies to Mickey Hart, or anything that resonates with you. The tables are designed to respond accurately to a wide range of frequencies and music styles.

That said, our own VAT Frequencies and VAT Music were created and tested directly on our sound tables in the studio. They’re carefully optimized to take full advantage of the Liquid Sound Table’s transducer design, water bladder, and amplifier setup — providing a uniquely balanced and powerful experience.

Q. Do I need Headphones?

A. Headphones are not recommended when using VAT Frequencies, as these tracks are designed primarily to be felt through the body, not listened to through the ears.

You can, however, listen to other audio while the VAT Frequencies are playing in the table — such as guided meditations, music, audiobooks, binaural beats, or podcasts. This combination can create a more immersive and personalized vibroacoustic experience.

When using VAT Music (vibroacoustic music created specifically for sound tables), headphones are often preferred. They allow you to hear the music in perfect sync with the vibration while also helping to reduce outside noise and keep your focus on the soundscape.

Q. What are the New Advanced Technology Transducers

A. All of our Liquid Sound Tables are powered by the latest Ibeam VT200 Advanced Technology Transducers, precision-engineered to deliver the most accurate and natural vibroacoustic experience available today.

These transducers generate vibrations that are incredibly smooth, accurate, and consistent, with frequency response extending from below 25 Hz to over 1000 Hz, and sound reproduction well beyond 20 kHz.

Unlike inexpensive or older designs, the VT200s produce very little heat and deliver energy so cleanly that the brain perceives the vibration as Sound, not Shaking™. This allows you to feel pure resonance — not distortion — as the frequencies move through the water bladder and into the body.

They also operate with remarkable efficiency and control, producing a deep, full-bodied vibration even at moderate listening levels. Earlier models using Clark transducers tended to be louder at equivalent vibration intensity, while the VT200s achieve greater tactile depth with lower volume, making the experience more refined, relaxing, and acoustically balanced.

Q. Why did InnerSoulutions choose the Ibeam VT200 Transducers?

A. After testing and working with multiple transducer types over more than 25 years of vibroacoustic table design, we found the Ibeam VT200 to deliver the most accurate, musical, and dependable performance available.

These transducers reproduce both low-frequency vibration and high-frequency harmonics with exceptional clarity, giving our Liquid Sound Tables their signature smooth and lifelike feel. The Ibeam’s structural design allows the energy to transfer efficiently through our 4-inch water bladder system, producing deep, even resonance across the entire table surface.

Their low-heat operation and long-term reliability make them ideal for daily professional use — from wellness centers and therapists to private home environments. Most importantly, the VT200 transducers allow us to achieve what we call “Sound, not Shaking™” — a coherent, full-spectrum experience that feels musical and restorative rather than mechanical.

At InnerSoulutions, we’ve continued to refine every detail — from transducer placement geometry to amplifier pairing — to ensure the Ibeam VT200s perform at their absolute best in each handcrafted table we build.

Q. Are transducers like speakers?

A. Not exactly. Audio speakers are designed to produce sound pressure waves that move through the air — what we hear (and occasionally feel) when a system, like a subwoofer, plays at high volume. Their main purpose is to create audible sound, not physical vibration.

Transducers, on the other hand, are engineered to take the same audio input but convert it primarily into physical vibration rather than airborne sound. This vibration moves through solid materials — like the surface of a Liquid Sound Table — allowing the body to feel the sound directly.

Our high-end Ibeam VT200 transducers produce exceptionally accurate and smooth vibration while also delivering clean, natural sound quality as a secondary effect. Unlike inexpensive models, they run cool and efficiently, offering both long-term reliability and a refined vibroacoustic experience.

Q. Why use transducers with such a wide range of vibration?

A. Most sound tables use transducers that only reproduce frequencies between 20–100 Hz, focusing mainly on bass vibration. Our Ibeam VT200 transducers, however, reach from below 25 Hz to over 1000 Hz, allowing you to feel a much broader and more natural range of sound.

Research from UCLA’s Dr. James Gimzewski shows that our cells communicate through subtle “songs” in the 100–1000 Hz range. By extending the vibration range upward, we engage the body on a cellular level, not just muscular. This lets you feel frequencies such as Solfeggio tones, tuning forks, and harmonic overtones throughout the entire body — not only hear them.

Q. Can I use an MP3 Player?

A. Many people use an Ipod, Ipad, smart phone, laptop or MP3 player as the source for their Sound Tables or Chairs. I have found newer mp3 players with ‘Line Out” work well. They work well with higher quality mp3 tracks like ours. This is what we are using at present with our sound tables along with a small Bluetooth 5.x reciever.

Q. What do I need to play my harp through a Sound Table or Sound Chair (VAHT™)?

A. Think of your Sound Table or Sound Chair as a set of specialized speakers — in this case, transducers that translate sound into vibration. Just like any speaker system, they need an amplifier and a clean, strong input signal to perform well.

To connect your harp to the system, you’ll need:

  1. A pickup – This converts the acoustic sound of your harp into an electrical signal.

  2. A preamp or small mixer – A preamp (such as a Fishman or Crate) or compact mixer boosts that signal so it’s strong enough to drive the amplifier in the chair or table.

  3. An amplifier – This powers the transducers, turning your harp’s audio into the rich, physical vibration you’ll feel through the table or chair. (An amplifier comes standard with every InnerSoulutions Sound Table and Sound Chair.)

A small mixer is often the best all-around solution. It not only includes a preamp for gain control but also offers EQ adjustment to sculpt your harp’s tone for the most natural vibration response. Most mixers have a stereo output that connects easily to the amplifier.

Mixers also let you add other sound sources, such as recorded music, VAT Frequencies, or accompaniment tracks, blending them seamlessly with your live harp performance. This setup gives you both creative flexibility and optimal signal strength, allowing your clients to feel the harp’s full spectrum of sound through the body.

Q. Will the Liquid Sound Table work with Rife frequencies?

A. Yes. Our Liquid Sound Tables are fully compatible with Rife frequencies and other frequency-based systems. From 2018 through 2022, we built custom Liquid Sound Tables and Chairs for the RASHA organization, which combined our vibroacoustic technology with their photon tube systems.

Practitioners reported excellent results — the water-based design and Ibeam VT200 transducers allowed Rife frequencies to transmit smoothly and accurately through the entire body. This created a balanced experience in which subtle energetic frequencies and physical resonance complemented each other naturally.

Our transducers reproduce frequencies you can feel from below 20 Hz to beyond 1000 Hz, making the Liquid Sound Table ideal for many of the Rife frequencies and Rife-type systems, Solfeggio tones, harmonic therapy, and experimental frequency work.

Q. Do you import your tables from the Far East?

A. No. We build most of our tables for you here in western New York - in the US. We have been working with Sound and Energy Healing since 1986 and our clients that are aware of energy appreciate that I still finish wiring our tables under our pyramid. These tables are produced from our hearts and with your Intent as well as our intent to raise the consciousness of any who touch them. We are doing what we love – it is what lets our hearts sing. We have created over 800 tables that are on five continents for a variety of clients from 5 star spas to Grammy winners to private massage therapists to individuals who just want to be aided in stress or pain reduction ... and everyone in between.

We have entered into an agreement with a No. California massage table manufacturer who creates the base structure of our folding tables in the US for us. We then take the shell, change out the plywood diaphragm and mount our transducers. Then finish, wire and test each table individually.

Q. What is the difference between your Sound Tables and some of the others?

A. Many of our competitors use products that are mass produced overseas, often with less attention to long-term build quality and the specific demands of vibroacoustic therapy.

In contrast, at InnerSoulutions I have personally been building Sound Tables for about 25 years, and that experience shows in every table we build. We focus on delivering the best user experience possible, ensuring your table will serve you faithfully for many years to come.

Here is what sets our tables apart:

  • We hand-build our Liquid Sound Tables and Stationary Sound Tables in the US.

  • We use high-quality transducers (priced around $350 each) that deliver tactile vibration from approximately 20 Hz up to over 1000 Hz, and audible response well up toward 20 kHz. (You may wish to check the manufacturer's specified maximum audible frequency for your installed transducer model to ensure accuracy.)

  • These newer-technology transducers require less input power to produce meaningful vibration—resulting in more vibration with less sound. This means the experience can be deeply felt by the body while remaining comfortable in the room for others.

  • We select transducers with very accurate frequency response and minimal distortion or noise. This gives an incredibly smooth, deeply relaxing vibration that we believe wasn’t possible with older, lower-end units.

  • Because the energy is delivered so cleanly, the brain interprets the stimulus as “Sound, not Shaking™”—a signature element of our design philosophy.

  • These transducers also operate with minimal heat output, unlike many low-cost alternatives. Lower heat means better reliability, longer life, and fewer service issues over time.

Q. Do you offer user support?

A. Yes. We provide ongoing phone and email support for any questions you may have — both before and after you purchase your table. Whether you’re setting up your system, integrating audio sources, or exploring new ways to use vibroacoustics, we’re here to help.

Stephen personally offers support and consultation for individual users, wellness professionals, and larger projects. He has been working consciously with healing frequencies since 1986 and building sound tables since the late 1990s, bringing decades of real-world experience to every conversation.

We also maintain an extensive Blog with educational articles on vibroacoustic therapy, sound design, and equipment setup, as well as a book, Vibroacoustics – Harmonize Your Life with Sound, which offers deeper insight into this field.
